Short Description of Military Distinction:

On the 1st of May 1945, while attacking the front line of the enemy’s defenses Sergeant Smadik demonstrated courage and bravery while in the ranks of a mounted platoon. By his own imitative, during an attack in the area of Tsulen village, he chased the retreating enemy killing 4 soldiers with his blade and taking 2 German officers prisoner. To this date, Comrade Smadik has 56 exterminated fascists on his battle account. He deserves the governmental award Order “Glory 3rd Class”.
