Just got in a divisional standard for the 9th Crimea Cavalry Division, from the workers of the Crimea. The flag was given in 1920-1922 after the whites were kicked out. Great condition, a real museum item.
Division was formed in July 1920 in Samar (assuming that its not mis-spelled Samara) from 2nd Turkmen Cav. Division. I would assume that when the unit was formed it got its standard, so that helps date the standard to Summer of 1920. DD Last edited by CtahhR; 04-19-2012 at 09:16 PM. |
