Here is a very common and mundane group at first glance. Four extremely common awards to someone who was NOT a veteran of the Great Patriotic War.
When I purchased this group on the forum marketplace in July 2011 the listing read "Cold War officer, said to have become a general, however no evidence present" - The evidence has now presented itself.

First we have his Jubilee Medal "40 Years Of Armed Forces Of The U.S.S.R." awarded on 15th June 1958 by Commander of Military Unit Guards Lieutenant Colonel Gross. Mistakenly named as Senior Lieutenant Vader'jan Bagratovich Gamelauri.

Second is Jubilee Medal "Twenty Years Of Victory Over Germany In The Great Patriotic War 1941-1945" А№3888229 awarded on 28th February 1966 by Commander of the rear services and transport academy Lieutenant General K. Abramov. He is now named as Valerijan Bagratovich Gomelauri.
