While I wouldn't fall for such shenanigans now, can't say the same for years ago. A combination of no language skills, not knowing things like serial number ranges to ukaz date relationship, misplaced trust, and "seeing what I want to see" has blinded me in the past to obvious problems with awards. Doubt anyone would drop thousands in such a case, but paying a couple hundred for something worth less than a hundred? Sure.
