Table Medal "50 Years Of The Union Of Soviet Socialist Republics".

How about this 50 year table medal...........55mm in diameter and 93 grams of 925 silver...........wonder who got these and why?

here's the back, it is fab no matter what it is.........I am tempted to polish it to its former Glory.........Pity I have not got it's presentation case as it surely came in one

hope I did not pay to much..........what ever 50 dollars is worth
