Se otorga a ciudadanos cubanos y extrajeros en reconocimiento a relevantes méritos alcanzados y a la labor que realizan en el enriquecimiento de la cultura nacional.

It is conferred to Cuban and foreign citizens acknowledging their outstanding merits and their labour enriching Cuban culture.

Awarded by the Consejo de Estado, República de Cuba Premio Especial del Ministerio de Cultura.
