I'm relatively new to Soviet collecting, as well, but, I've done more research on uniforms and caps - thanks to xxxxxxxxx
- than I have medals, orders, and other awards. I need help with the ribbon bars on this Colonel's uniform. I've tried identifying the first and third ribbons of the group, and have possibly learned by browsing the forums that the first is the Order for Service to the Motherland in the Armed Forces of the USSR, but am not sure. The third, I didn't see on this site, and I peeked at all the medals and orders looking for a corresponding ribbon. I haven't found one. So, I suppose my first post here is one for help...I'd greatly appreciate someone helping me on this, because I might ask the seller of the everyday service uniform if he has the medal group, with the parade uniform. Thanks.
