Any one who attends the show will not be disappointed. I have attended the last five shows & now, I wouldn't miss it for the world! Plus, being from Louisville originally, it always provides a good excuse to get back home.
The show is Nazi-heavy but there seems to be more Soviet booths every year. I remember a few years ago, there was only 1 dealer there selling Soviet items. He had hundreds of military daggers for $50.00 each. He was considered an oddball and the daggers were novelties. Many people were walking around, carrying these strange daggers that no one had ever seen before.
I have found that Thursday afternoon or Friday are the best days to go. Early on Thursday, dealers are still arrriving & getting set up. Saturday, things are a bit picked over then by Sunday many dealers are leaving.
If anyone needs any ideas on what to do or where to stay while in Louisville, feel free to PM me.
