I don't think Alexei's prices on those 2 are "crazy".
They have been selling in FSU over $1,500 for the last 3-4 months.
I have been offered $2,000 for mine which I bought from Alexei for only 1/4 of given price.

As much as I hate paying these prices, it's the demand that sets them.
Right now there are more collectors after high/scarce awards than there's supply. One collector/dealer has Suvorov 2 and Khmelnitsky 2 listed at $8,000 each. Is the price crazy? Maybe, but can you get it cheaper? Probably not!

The way I see it, with more time these prices will push out the small collectors out or at least keep them buying smaller stuff and only leave the big dogs behind. I'm personally afraid of what's going to happened since I can't afford to pay $4,100 for Kutuzov 3 now! (Selling at a major dealer in NJ). What's going to happen in 6, 12, and 24 months and beyond...?
