Good evening,
I can't see it very well, but is the link; that connects the medals to the hanger, on the Bravery Medal and Combat Service soldered together or is it cut like the other 3 medals?
I tend to believe that if the links are soldered together, at least the Bravery and Combat Service medals are original to this group. I've seen many "higher" medals and orders with its links soldered together. I am assuming that the reason the link is soldered together is to prevent losing the medal. Poorly made up groups tends to have cut links; the ones that I have seen.
A well worn group. Too bad it wasn't kept in the family.
