I also have a couple of these NK Orders, the 3 Revolutions one and another I can't remember the name (there's a soldier with a flag on the center).
They are quite heavy, but I have no idea what's the metal they used.
Anyway, it looks a cheap metal (It seems as if they were kind of very poor quality silver plated, or could it be aluminium?), with a tendency to get rust on the reverse :(
Nice obverses thought, but the quality can't be compared to the Soviet or Mongolian Orders!
