Thanks for the nod. I too started early with the JOMSA (Journal of the Orders and Medals Society of America). It's low stress and you can write a decent length article about something with which you are an "expert". I submitted another article last May on Red Square parade participant pins and haven't heard anything back. Seems yours may have been better than mine...

I should also clarify my comments, I did have one forum member ask me to proofread a couple of good articles - when I wrote the comment I intended collaborative efforts.
