Can you provide that information about the serial ranges?
For the first range minimal known number is 1792337 and maximal is 1945503.
For the second range minimal known number is 2051119 and maximal is 2290504.
If you have any corrections or additions to those ranges please let me know.

To everyone, how accurate is the list by Shishkov & Muzalevsky posted on the ORS info pages on this site?
My first order with book as a number of #2.821.039 and was issued in 1949. However, according to the list on page five they put that number around 1945. I see other people trying to put 1 million numbers around 1943. Is there some better list out there?
I have already discussed the situation with s\n lists on different forums. I have seen that in many cases people mix together two different dates - date of issue (date of actual prikaz or Ukaz) and date when award was bestowed to the cavaler (when he actually physically received the award). Those things NEVER should be mixed and I can explain you why.
For example some person was awarded with Red Star in according with his division's prikaz on October 14, 1943. But few days later he was wounded and transferred to the hospital (or his regiment was transferred to another Army or Front). So his traces were missed and he didn't get his order right away. However, after the war ended his unit finally was traced and this Red Star was bestowed to him on July 7, 1945. Of course the number of this Star would be high (1,700,000 or so). If you only create a table with date of issue you can be easily surprised why Stars or other orders issued in 1943 or 1944 have such a big numbers.
My point is this - when you making a table, you should create TWO columns for datas. First for date of issue and the second for date when award was bestowed. If you don't know one of those datas just leave it blank.
It is not a secret that correlation between date of bestowing and serial number is much stronger than between date of issue and serial number.
I'm not sure if I explained everything in understandable manner. Please feel free to ask any questions and I would be happy to answer them (if I can :)).
