Hi guys,
*The simple silver aiguillette was worn by NCO/EM soviet army,navy,air force,BBMVD,PV on parade occasion (summer uniform and winter greatcoat)
It is worn as well by NCO/EM from honor guard detachments (Air Force,Army,Navy).
*The simple golden aiguillette is worn by officers on parade occasions (summer uniform & winter great coat) by the KGB honor guard at the Lenin Mausoleum and by the honor guard detechment in Berlin.
*The double golden aiguillette is worn by officers from the honor guard detachments.
*The dembel aiguillette was of course worn by NCO/EM undergoing demobilization.
The wear of the aiguillette was officalised in a decree beginning of 1972.
