Medal "Soldier-Internationalist From The Grateful Afghan People".

[Keith]

Hello,

It seems that this document is disproportionately difficult to find relative to the award. This also is the case with two other awards of this era, the Soldier-internationalist award and the Chernobyl award. Is there a tremendous quantity of unissued awards on the market, or is are the recipients keeping their documents, but selling the awards? What clues, such as stamps, dates, handwriting would one look for to determine whether a document was filled out by the appropriate authorities, or if one of the many blank documents on the market has been fraudulently filled in later?

Thanks,
Keith
