Continuing the illegal resident agent theme.
She held the rank of Colonel and was also awarded the "Honorary Worker of State Security" badge. Member of the Spanish Communist Party. Col de Las Eras worked for Soviet State Security for over 45 years. Began her association with Soviet foreign intelligence in 1937 fulfilling special missions in various countries. After the GPW, she received specialized training and then served 22 years on assignments in Europe and later in a Latin American country. Fom 1967 through 1970 she was dispatched on three foreign TDY assignments to accomplish important tasks that HQs would not entrust to anyone else. Passed away in March 1988.
