I found this photo on the English-Russia site. By the medals on her left, she is Ukrainian; but, she also has the OGPW on her right.
Context: this photo is one of dozens shown on the English-Russia site of a "hippie fest" somewhere in the south of Russia. Lots of young nouveau Slavic hippies at some music festival. Okay, I was bored and was recalling that I was the only long-haired male I encountered in Moscow when I was there and when the local guys started to grow theirs long, I cut mine off! Anyway, her photo was a nice break.
On a more serious note, there are a couple of other picture series that are actually worth checking out. The first is the following: Unseen World War II Photos - Chill Out Point which has lots of uniforms and early medals. It also has a great selection of photos which illustrate the serious contribution made by the civilian labor force as well.
The other one is for the tank lovers: Soviet Tourists in Germany, 1945 - English Russia (not my favorite, but some interesting pics including of the military field photographers themselves).
NOTE: Do try to avoid clicking on any of the nonsense ads on the sides. It is all just a bunch of hooey on this very commercial site.
