If I'm looking at everything right, and wearing it correctly, the buckle is about wear my "belly button" is (I'm 6'3" and very lanky). Does this sound about right?

The belt buckle on both parade and service uniforms for officers shall cover the third button counted from upwards or second button counted from the bottom. On the double breasted parade uniforms for generals and naval officers, the belt shall rest upon the middle button row; and admirals shall wear the parade belt between second and third button row.
