Hi,
I received the following order/medal through the post today. Can anyone tell me a bit more about it. I know it says 'Miners Glory' on the front and this is the first class one of a set of three.
Does anyone know anything else about these medals? For instance, what you needed to do to obtain each class. I'm also curious to know how many of these were issued, and if they are still being issued today, or what sort of dates they were issued between.
Like a lot of soviet medals, it has that wonderful enamel on it, something which makes soviet medals quite attractive to collect. I bought it because I liked it, not really knowing much about it. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.
Kind Regards,
Shane Cook.
