Russian Federation Uniforms

The boards and gorget are for officers in the Kremlin Guard; the one I posted is an enlisted mans set. Same basic uniform though.

Thank you Doug! Those are the photos I was talking about in Post #24.:thumbsup

You just don't see that kind of pomp (good context) in very many of the "bigger name" countries. Even France has toned down their uniforms. I think some of the north African coastal countries and maybe certain regiments in India or possibly Indonesia are the only other places I can picture guard uniforms this classy (and the Brits of course).

Now I said that I can think of, so don't everybody start making a list of places I "forgot" to mention because I didn't leave anyone out intentionally; I'm just going on memory and semi-educated guesses.:)
