I'm about to create a stir with the following statement: I believe that the design of the Bulgarian star is actually better looking and is easier on the eye because of the proportions than the one issued by the Soviet Union. The reverse is especially interesting and almost playful in design. The mint certainly made use of the limited space on the reverse.;)
