So this is one of those famous "arguments/debates" I've heard tell of among the cloth guys. Wow, I finally got to see one for myself.:rolleyes:

Joking aside, and not being dismissive - honestly - because I have some real questions about these caps as they occurred just after the war among the MGB, but that's another subject for another thread (unless they fall into the same or similar category of having a red/brick red band but only royal blue piping - as I've seen some look for sale on the auction). I am completely dependent upon you guys for my info on 1950s security service attire - especially the hats.:thumbsup
