Short, concrete description of the personal combat feat or merits:

During the fighting with the German invaders on April 26th, 1945 near the city of Baruth, he moved his gun in position to fire using direct lay during the operation to liquidate the enemy grouping to the southeast of Berlin. When the Germans had launched a counterattack he suddenly opened fire using direct lay, destroying two enemy mounted machine guns and their crews and killing up to 25 hitlerites. During the night to April 28th, 1945, using the darkness, the enemy sneaked right up to the guns in an attempt to capture them. Getting sight of them, comrade Pyrsikov personally killed 7 hitlerites using two grenades and his submachine gun and took 3 of them prisoner.

For initiatives and resourcefulness displayed in combat, which contributed to the overall success, he deserves the Order of the Red Star.
