Surely no one can argue with the statement that high ranking Soviet parade uniforms were the most awesomw any country has ever possesed and will take a lot to be beaten.
Another question I have is what was the reasoning behind changing the wearing of medals underneath the lapel to being worn on the breast? Surely this was uniqiuely Soviet and a tradition I think they should have stuck with rather than adopting the western traditon. Also from a practical point of view you could get more medals on the uniform when worn in this way! Any thoughts???
