Koslova,
The diorama itself, once all the rest (figurines, side-car, house, etc) was ready, wasn't that long. I don't remember exactly (if I remember it right I might have done this back in 83-84, when I was still young and no belly
) but I remember the bridge and most of the diorama was probably made in a week-end or so. Can't remember if the river was also done in that same week-end. As for the German soldiers, partisans, side-car, and most of the house, that probably took around a couple of weeks or so.When doing these dioramas, small details that most people won't even notice was one of the things that used to give me great pleasure
For example on the other diorama, "Falaise", there is a fire where they are preparing to cook something (it's rest time for the soldiers, but the radio man and the Officers are busy and alert!), and there are two dead rabbits near the fire that most people don't even notice. You can see them on that pic from above, but for a better detail see the close-up pic attached.
Wanted to make another close-up pic of the Officer, smoking a scratch build cigarette and drinking from a scratch build cup, but the damn batteries of my camera just went down and need to be recharged. Will post that one later.
PS: Ok, batteries recharged.
Attached four more pics.

Clete,
Thanks.
The funny thing is that I used to have the patience only for those kind of details, but was never really a patient person I guess and most of the time lack of patience for many other things
I suppose I need to feel some kind of passion for something (or someone
) for feeling patient
Or maybe doing all those detailed little things worked like a theraphy, at least while I was busy doing it!
Anyway, haven't felt patient enough to get back to the hobby in a long time!
