Badge "Participant In Building The Great Fergana Canal Named Comrade Stalin".
At last , I managed to get my hands on the Tajik version of the Fergana canal badge . It is interesting to note , as one of the members of this forum had previously stated, the reverse of the badge actually states Uz.SSR, as the Tajik SSR in the front was probably enammeled on to a existing Uzbek badge. The badge has a low no.3948 and is only the second one i have seen in 10 years of collecting. I was offered this in Almaty at 80/90 $, but thought it too expensive, but ate humble pie and bought this in Dushanbe yesterday for 130$.
