Nothing unusual I am sure, but I am curious what was this badge awarded for? Or was it given to all the soldiers?

I think I'm correct in saying this is a Yugoslav Army best soldier badge.

Where was it worn on a jacked? Right breast pocket?

Btw. Do You happen to have any regulation on where, when and in what order Yugoslav awards (badges and medals) should be worn? And one more thing - I have seen a picture of a Yugoslav border guard wearig a badge on his jacket/raincoat. Was it a common practise, or did it apply only to BG?
