Re: Numerical list

OK. Here's the updated list. There's a few toward the end that aren't 100% up to date but....
Information gleaned from The Comprehensive Guide to Soviet Orders and Medals by Paul McDaniel and Paul J. Schmitt, and ÎÐÄÅÍÀ È ÌÅÄÀËÈ ÑÑÑÐ by Andrew Kuznetsov & Igor Pak

If anyone spots anything out of line please posr here. I'd like to, when this is nearly 100% accurate, make this a sticky here for easy reference.

Thanks Marc. Somehow I totally spaced BK3 (?!?!?!?!). The OoV I'll take your word for as you're much more well informed than I. The Nevsky I have at 42165 to individuals and 1,473 units (from EoW) and I got 43,640 from Mondvor (I think). I'm having a little trouble keeping the individual-versus-unit awardings straight.

Re: Numerical list

Eric,

I believe that you should compute the total amount of awards made, irrespective of whether the recipient was an individual or a unit (could indicate the actual figures in brackets for example).

now, regarding the Order of Nevsky, Mondvor indicates that a total of 42165 awards, including 1473 to units. So, to get back to my suggestion:

42,165 - Order of Nevsky (Individuals: 40,692 - Units: 1,473)

Marc
