ok, who would like to vote me into the looney bin?

Take a look at the photo below and tell me if you don't see a MzPP "2" within the yellow square and a "3" beside it. My wife thinks there is an "8" before the "2". We're all crazy!!!!!!

Now I understand that the star corresponds to others around it's number, but I have looked at way too many MzPP stars and are beginning to see them everywhere, I guess.

What do others think? Trick of the camera? Mind? Space Aliens? Putin?

I might add that this is not a unique case. There were also gaps in production of other awards, when orders were placed with different mints, like MZPP and KMD. If memory serves, MZPP production of OGPW 2nd stops at about 667XXX, and KMD picks up at about 680XX.

2.459.453 awarded 06.11.1947 to Marshall I. I. Jakubovskii

May be a typing error?

But who has this award currently? Is it an actual award that someone has held or just a number we know of?

it´s from the russian book: Marshals and Flett Admirals of the Soviet Union, -Uniform, Awards, Weapon, from Anatolii Nikolajewitch Kuzenko.

Aspekt 2001 : on page 370.
