These were always plentiful, but I have seen a lot of fakes recently.

Front and reverse of a Communist Party Veteran Badge, awarded for 50 or more years of membership. Badge on the left is original made of solid silver, gold-plating and high quality enamel. Please note round Moscow mint mark on the back. Badge on the right is a coined brass copy.

If anyone's interested I have just posted scans of the proper award cards in the Paper Items forum.
