The Visor Cap for this Uniform???

Can anyone give me some assistance with this?
This is a photograph of one of the shoulder boards on a Soviet-era uniform for an officer of the merchant fleet.

Unfortunately, I am still working on my Russian language skills, so I'm struggling a bit with the regulations (which are actually post-1978 regulations that are in another thread).

I'm trying to determine:

1. The correct term for the rank of this officer; and
2. The correct style of visor cap that would have been worn. The merchant fleet apparently had different styles depending on the rank.

The rank is captain (of the ship), not to be confused with army or navy captains. This rank is the highest for onboard crew, but I've understood that above this within the Soviet civil shipping (MORFLOT) administration, as in the Aeroflot, even more senior officials held ranks above that were indicated by an even thicker bottom stripe, ranking like admirals and generals.

Anyway, the cap should look like or closely resemble the one in the attached file.

The badge is embroidered and the visor leaves indicating ship captain are navy type. Junior and medium level officers did not have these leaves.
