A couple of images showing the different embroidery patterns one may encounter. In the first image note that all three branch colors are represented as is the silver-bullion embroidery associated with medical and admin G.O.s.

Given the fabric color of the silver-embroided cuff, I believe that it is in fact a M47 milicia uniform.

Thank you. Yes, I have an image of one in my collection of period images of M1943 and M1945 VPs in wear. See attachment for close up.

As I've mentioned previously, I've given some thought to offering a compilation CD. If I do, it will include hundreds of high-quality images with the wearers' identities (to the greatest extent possible). MSUs, Branch Marshals, NKVD and line G.O.s will be included; naval VPs to a lesser degree.
