olezha11:
Chris stated: "The badge is worn on the sleeve at the wrist which may explain the unusual connection device on its reverse." Is this correct? How rare is this badge? Thanks for all of your help! Rusty.

Like I said lads, I was told by our site guru that is was believed to be for the victory parade.
This new site I looked at said otherwise......and had other excellent rare to very rare badges. It was his collection. Anybody what the page just send me your email and I will send it to you..... you can make your own mind up Just a note on price. Just because it is fairly cheap is not always the indicator. I bought this badge for 8 dollars...I have not seen another since. Here it is in AVERS No 5 it states 1948 so a 45 issue is out the window. Regardless of NKVD it does ring true to be some sort of commemorative 30-year badge? Chris Last edited by CtahhR; 04-25-2013 at 10:19 PM. |
