Here are a pair of pictures of uniformed females of the DPRK.
Notice the green insignia in the "unfocused" part of the first picture and is it just me or do those ushankas look reinforced? Mine always get really misshaped no matter what I do.

Looks like they've done something to them... The ushankas that is, hah.
An old Chechenya veteran told me that soaking the ushanka in warm water, and form it on a piece of wood was the best method, but that's SSSR ushankas. I really don't know with the DPRK synthetic Nordsjø-pels material. Vinylon of some kind? I've actually never seen a DPRK ushanka of the modern kind that has been "out of shape". |
