Re: Hero Group Ivan Porfir'evich Motornyj.
No hints as to private or museum? West or East?

Re: set: Hero, Lenin, 2xRed Banners, Nevsky, Grate Motherland War 1grade
May I add my unsolicited opinion?
If real, it would be very unaffordable to most of us collectors. Secondly, if a collector here in the US really wants it, does the seller send it by mail? What happens if their customs confiscate it? Who eats it? Does the buyer get his money back for non-delivery? What happens if the seller has photographed authentic medals, yet the buyer receives fakes? The buyer will contact the seller and say, "Hey! They were NOT the ones you had described!" And the seller says, "I sent you the originals and now, you are complaining that I sent you fakes?!!! What are you trying to pull on me??!!!" And the buyer is out of luck. The medals may or may not be real; why would anyone take that kind of chance when you do not know the seller? If the seller is smart, they should contact Sothesbys or some other reputable action house. Forget epay. Or find a buyer in Moscow. The only problem is that once people over there know what you have, you run the risk of getting it ripped off. HENRY Last edited by Henry Sakaida; 06-06-2012 at 10:55 AM. Reason: Typo |
