This is the Information/Queries thread relating to all things Bukharan People's Soviet Republic. The Bukharan People's Soviet Republic (Buxoro Xalq Sho'ro Jumhuriyati) was founded on 8th October 1920 from the Emirate Of Bukhara (امارت بخارا‎) and was renamed Bukharan Soviet Socialist Republic (Buxoro Sovet Sotsialistik Respublikasi) on 19th September 1924 coinciding with national delimitation of central Asia and new national boundaries. On 17th February 1925 the Bukharan SSR was incorporated into the Uzbek and Turkmen SSRs. The Bukharan SSR was never de jure part of the Soviet Union as the former Bukharan SSR territories were not incorporated into the U.S.S.R. until 13th May 1925.
