Another submarine was found recently in the Baltic sea, likely the S6:

The submarine was initially found by swedish divers and during the summer of 2012, several teams has dived on the wreckside south-east of Öland.

Now the swedish navy submarine rescue vessel Belos has recognized and explored the wreck which is marked with the hammer and sickle and dated 1936.

Much speak for the fact that this is the Soviet submarine S6, the swedish navy states. S6 was lost during a patrol in the Baltic sea in 1941.

Judging from the damages, the vessel was running the surface when in struck a mine. The wreck was found on the seabed 40 metres below the surface, outside Swedish territorial waters but inside the swedish economical zone.

The hull is broken in two and the bow is about 20 metres from the stern.
Civil divers has during the summer reported that there are still human remains in the wreck. According to swedish military officials the wrecksite is to be considered a war grave and the Russian authorities has been informed that the wreck was found.
