I am really proud of him. He is stil full of energy: he works as an adviser in Russian nuclear industry and he is also the Head of Chernobyl veteran organization, and he often travels to foreign countries, as well.

As I know, his organization doesn't issue any awards, but he has got a lot of various organizational awards of different organizations. He doesn't wear them all, but I've seen them at his home.

There are many organizations that issue their own awards in Russia.
Here are some examples:

The serious one: Каталог знаков, выпущенных МОФ “КОМАНДАРМ” по состоянию на 23 мая 2013 г. | МОФ "Командарм"
The comic one: Наградная система "Маленький Атлант" - За стойкость и несгибаемость

I know the heads of both organizations. :)
