Short, concrete description of his combat feat or merits:

During the historic march of sections of the division from the city of Prague /Czechoslovakia/ to their place of permanent deployment, Senior Lieutenant Akinfiev showed exceptional initiative and organizational skills in the organization and control of the marching unit formations. According to my instructions and orders he repeatedly travelled to the sections to oversee and control the output of the units and their arrival at the next stop. He travelled ahead choosing the locations for the units, being the senior officer in an forward reconnaissance group. Much work has been done by Senior Lieutenant Akinfiev in the organizing and overseeing of the units’ preparation and during the carrying out of parades. His work has helped me to organize and conduct marches and parades.
