Badge "Industrial Energy Association Donbasenergo".

This badge is one of a multitude produced to commemorate the creation of the "Order of Lenin Industrial Energy Association Donbasenergo" (ПЭО Донбассенерго) in 1976. The Association has its roots back to 1930, when it was "Donbasstok," "Donenergo" since 1931, and "Donbasenrgo" since 1943.

In the 1990s, this energy management company (which represents multiple major power plants) was reorganized and split up into several companies.
The current company bearing the name Donbasenergo has been negatively impacted by the Ukraine conflict, with the Slavyansk power plant incurring heavy damage in 2014.
