Before the start of work, the task was given to every one of the Commanders and Red Navy Sailors. Comrade Terletskij in the beginning was put to repairing the bearings "Mitchell" where he worked producing that ahead of time by 20 days. 27th January 1942 Comrade Terletskij was assigned the brigadier for repairing the hull. Work to repair the hull and its bow was extremely labourious, requiring experience and knowledge. Comrade Terletskij had to work in winter in 25-30° frost. Difficult work was needed and in that, to repair the hull of the ship the plant had to prepare the necessary material and instruments. The lack of such would halt Comrade Terletskij and not waiting, when this was caused by the plant, Terletskij with his repair group proceeded to produce sheets for plates with press-sheers, without regard to the great frosts, nor with the difficulty in the supply of electricity to them, completed ahead of time the task of providing sheets for the hull of the ship by 5 days. Happened so, that no-one was working on the pneumatic hammer, Terletskij, not waiting for their arrival, set himself on this, mastering it and performing at a rate of 250-300%. The exceptionally conscientious attitude Comrade Terletskij to the assigned work throughout all repair and body work thanks to his initiative was performed ahead of time. Commander of the Base Minesweeper "T-218" Lieutenant-Captain Tsybin Military Commissar of the Base Minesweeper "T-218" Senior Political Leader Klychkov 21st April 1942.
