CheKa-OGPU Marksmanship Jetton.

Gentlemen,

I thought I'd share this one with you. It's a 1930 CheKa-OGPU Medallion for marksmanship. The text on the reverse says: "Chekist fighter needs firm hand to fight enemies of the proletariat. December 20, 1930". This piece was obviously not designed to be worn.

What a nice jetton.

Note the M1895 Nagant 7,62 'gas-seal' revolver. A favourite among tank crews during the war.

Could you please post a picture of the engraving on the reverse?
