Octoberist banner???, any advice

hi, i have this banner, it is very worn and faded, the main emblem is the octoberist membership badge( i think), on the sides are 4 pictures of children involved in differant occupations. The bottom has gold thread while at the top are a few loops, i think so it slides onto a rod. I hope the photo provides enough detail of the writing. If any one has a idea of what it is, are there many around ect.., it would be a great help, thanks a lot, Ian

As you rightly guessed, this is from an Oktoberist pennant. It is the "rule-book" for the good oktoberist.
From its appearance, it dates most likely from the 1970~80's. Each group had one of these, so, it is not exactly a rare banner you got there.
