Having had in three of these M1945 Air Marshals uniforms, I just wanted to add that the cuffs are not velvet, but were sky blue material. The collar was also of the same color ( black collar and cuffs for tank and artillery marshals, magenta for signals and engineering marshals).

I really know nothing at all about uniforms, anyway the uniform you mention should it look like this one?

Yes, that is an example; there are more ones on mannequins in the uniforms section.

Maybe this guy wasn't as well known as his friends, but should still be easy to recognise.

I can identify only the most famous of Soviets. If he wasn't running the USSR, I probably can't ID his picture. Sorry

He looked familiar but I was not sure. (-: Telling us that he wasn't as famous as his friends was a good hint. Also, he has that British gentleman look. Can you tell us his name?
