It's the "T" that threw me when i tried to work it out for myself. I was think it was "пч" which didn't make any sense to me! Cheers, Tom |

Award Booklet Name Translation
Can someone translate the name in this award booklet ? :) Thanks!
I understand the two medals awarded are: Order of The Red Star & Order of the red Banner...correct ? |

Thanks Bill.............Thanks Auke. Just purchased the booklet. Your help is always appreciated :thumbsup
This is the photocopy that came with the award booklet previously posted. I think it shows a citation for an Order of Lenin to the same man. Can anyone verify this ? His booklet doesn't seem to mention it Last edited by CtahhR; 08-25-2013 at 05:11 PM. |

Re: Translation Help
The reverse of this citation (or possibly a third page) will identify what was awarded. Most likely the Red Banner.

Re: Translation Help
The citation is indeed a recommendation for a Lenin, but as Ctahhr mentioned, it may have been recommended for a downgrade on the subsequent page.
