Thing is though,most our babas and teeyohtyas looked like that. As for a hard life, this perhaps is debateable. Certianly true during the war years. As for work, no disputing that they worked hard all their lives. however, they enjoyed life also. Family units and extended families socialized, neighbours socialized-great food and drink.
Nowadays, do we even know our neighbours? |
