Here is Nikolaj Aleksandrovich Bessonov 1935-1982
Honored Test Pilot USSR (14.08.1981), reserve lieutenant. Born April 15, 1935 in Moscow. In 1939-1945 he lived in the city of Karaganda (Kazakhstan). In 1959 he graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute. Along with the training and gliding airplane involved in sports at the flying club MAI, where he graduated in 1957. He continued to fly in the Central Aeroclub Chkalov. In 1959-1962 he worked as an engineer in the Flight Research Institute. In 1963 he graduated from Central helicopter-gliding school DOSAAF (Kaluga). In 1962-1965 he worked as a senior engineer in the design bureau In 1966 he graduated from the helicopter division of the School of test pilots. From March 1966 - on the flight test work at the Flight Research Institute. Held a series of test work on the helicopters on the subject of the institute: testing a new propeller for the Mi-6 studies the maximum permissible overloads on the Mi-8 test methodology takeoff Mi-8 helicopter with the nose landing gear to reduce the takeoff distance in the highlands. There are poems (about skiing at Terskol): It is well known: Wolf - not a coward, And Ant - not a coward. They with Bessonov on a drinking binge Climbed up briskly to Mount Elbrus Died March 14, 1982 from burns received on 8th February 1982 in the Mi-8 disaster. On this day, with Bessonov, V. E. Turovtsev practiced "extreme" modes of landing on the Mi-8. After three successful regimes with both the engine shut off (in autorotation to "undermine") was the mode to "low fuel". Fell from the high angle of pitch, launched because the fuel was not cut off, then obviously this led to a strong fire. Turovets died in a fire in 13 hours 40 minutes. Bessonova took with severe burns to hospital. A week later, Bessonov started recovering. With 20% burns of the skin, respiratory tract infections. The death of Turovets was concealed. When he found out about this, he "broke." Bessonov was living in Moscow. He was buried in Moscow at the Khimki cemetery. He was awarded the Orders "October Revolution", "Red Banner Of Labour", "Badge Of Honour." From the Russian test pilot website.

Here is Vladimir Evgen'evich Turovets. 1949-1982.
Test pilot third class (1980), Senior Lieutenant. He was born 20th February 1949 in the Krasnodon region Lugansk region (Ukraine). In the Army since 1966. In 1970 graduated from the Kharkov VVAUL. He served in the Air Force combat units. Since 1976 - in reserve. In 1977 graduated from Test Pilot School and the Kiev Institute of Engineers of Civil Aviation. From June 1977 - on the flight test work in LII (November 1977-March 1979, a senior engineer). Held a series of test work on the fighter on the subject of the institute. He died 8th February 1982 when the flight of the Mi-8 crashed. He lived in the town of Zhukovsky, Moscow region. He was buried in Zhukovsky on Bykovsky cemetery.
