Re: Unknown Submarine Badge
I agree with Brendan.
When I visited Helsinki last year these were on sale almost by the bucket load at one of the harbourside markets. Simon |

Hi,
thanks a lot guys - I`ve sent it back to the seller. Money has been retransferred to me too, so everything is ok now. With best regards, Jens* |

Re: Submarine Badge
Bubniy, are the ones you are showing original or fake?

Re: Submarine Badge
I see, Merci.
It would be useful to compare an original to a fake in details so me and other unexperienced collectors could know what to buy. I guess the badges Bubniy shows should have hot enamel isntead of cold. Am I right?

Re: Submarine Badge
I’m shoving the souvenir, produced with Moscow souvenir factory. You can read it as a fake. Yes, you are right. No enamel, different metal and stamp.

submarine commander badge
Any reason to doubt it? Can you tell the era? My guess is 70s-80s.
And yes, that's my homemade repair on the reverse.:thumbsdown Actually, this is one of the first Soviet items I ever got; I've had it for more than 10 years I'd guess. TIA
