Guards Badge. - Page 2

Hi all,

i also have one cuban Guards badge in my collection. I told to some cuban friends if they know who is decorated with this badge and other infos about it but he didn't known.
A couple of this guys spent a lot of years in cuban armed forces and it's not a good thing that they didn't known nothing about this badge.

I also have a huge collection of pics show cuban armed forces from '59 till today but no one have this kind of badge.

It's not a good thing for us :confused:

Yes that is strange,
Castro wore one as the pic shows.

Not too easy to see but there are some other photos about with a clearer shot of the badge.

Hi Eddie, yes here we can see Castro wearing Guards badge on left pocket but unfortunately we can't see if it's the cuban or the soviet ones.

Guys,

As far as I remember, Castro was given a Soviet Guards badge.

Just out of curiostity, what other Soviet awards was he given? I know Stalin would have given a body part to get the Order of Victory back from Tito and I was just wondering if Castro had been given any significant "attaboy" awards.
