Aside from the cap that is a 50s type, the "crab" cockarde seems to be a nice example of the pre-1943 type.

Until 1947 star on a cockade was a separate piece. Width of the navy black band on the cap’s band was 37,5 and after the war reduced to 32,5.

I'd say that this is war-time production. I have seen a few like this one, made with yellow thread instead of bullion.

The star looks like star from senior NCO cockade from 50-es and silk embroidery is hand made and could have been made anytime between then and now. I can’t see any reason why if you like you couldn’t do it yourself? It’s not so difficult.
